Sampsa Korhonen
I am an expert of mental coaching with experience of over 30 000 clients, an NLP therapist and a suggestion and
hypnotherapist. I have also worked as a relaxation coach for corporations and organizations 30 years. My
repertory includes also mindfulness-based stress reduction and how to grow your inner peace with guided group
meditations and relaxations etc.
Appointments in Finnish and English - at top floor reception and training combination,
which has been located in the heart of central Helsinki since 1996. He offers also (Skype and
Zoom)online consultations and, in some cases, if necessary, home visits at the Greater Helsinki
(Capital region and commuter towns surrounding Helsinki, the capital city of Finland).
As a professional trainer and therapist his main values in the work are innovative,
collaborative, integrity and ethical practice. During the past few years he has also made
appearances on radio and TV programs as an expert of guided empowering relaxation, NLP
coaching and solution oriented hypnotherapy. Concerning benefits of relaxation, breaking bad
habits such as smoking, coping with stress and performance coaching, etc. He's using NLP and
hypnosis to manage stress and anxiety.
Like Aaron Williamson, professor of performance science at the Royal College of Music says "it's
not a natural thing to do, going out and dealing with such high levels of stress in public. And it's
nothing to do with age or inexperience. No matter how highly skilled a person is, the body's
preprogrammed stress responses mean they can enter a different physical state and
sometimes even an different psychological state." (The Guardian).

It is very common that people have a negative attitude towards their bodies and themselves. Many trainers and therapists advice us to try to accept ourselves as we are. Easier said than done. We know that rather than almost hating the body for what it isn't we should learn to like it more for how it is.
This simple exercise can be a little miracle. Imagine how it would feel, if you thanked your body for 10 minutes during a relaxation every day: each area, every part of your body, step by step. During the first week your inner picture of yourself will start to change. Perhaps you won’t learn to love your body immediately, but you're going to feel better instead of putting yourself down.
Your mind needs repetition to make permanent changes in your self imagine. A daily 10-minute self-relaxation exercise for one month will make a positive change, and “a miracle” will happen.
This small video clip shows how I made guided relaxation in a popular live TV-program
at TV 1/YLE 2013 (Finland's national broadcasting company). The idea of the program
was to help people manage their usual Christmas stress.
